The Sleepy Hippo low-profile bedside pet bed is exactly as promised! It’s sturdy, solid wood, visibly well made, and the most beautiful deep espresso color. All pieces were securely packed and well marked so you can easily identify them. I found the instructions easy to follow due to the well-drawn pictures of each step.

I don’t know where to start with this review. I purchased bed frame mattress, and I also purchased the mattress that goes with it. You must have the two. I also purchased the sheet set. The bedding. The quality, the workmanship, and the thought put into all of these products is beyond impressive. The products definitely are a must.

This pet bed is a great solution if even your king size bed isn’t enough room for you, your spouse, and dog. Ours always crowds us and now he has his own space next to us without being on the floor. Be sure to buy the mattress, too, to make the complete set. Pretty easy assembly and it’s solid wood, so should be long lasting. Good price considering the craftsmanship. Definitely not your everyday dog bed!
